The break started with my quarter century birthday. Naoko took me to go bowling together and then we went out to eat at the firehouse pizzeria. Good eats, mm hmm. 
She then took a nice german chocolate cake that we won at a white elephant party. ( a friend of ours works at usu catering and grabbed this leftover beauty). Naoko then decorated the cake we got for me with a golf theme.
The following friday night we headed down to Orem where we were able to hang out with everyone that made it to Utah that weekend. Also on that Saturday one of Naoko's best friends got married. ( The one that escorted Naoko at our wedding. So we spent the day in SLC and at the reception which caused me to be late for watching the BYU bowl game (~_~;)
We enjoyed a nice a relaxing Christmas at my parent's house. Howie enjoyed all the attention as well as a big back yard to run around in. Here is Howie enjoying his present.
On the 28th it was our 1 year anniversary (yeehaw) We went and had a fun lunch at a new restaurant called Sakura. It is by the Golden corral in Orem. It is a Teppanyaki type deal. It was surprisingly good and it is always fun to play with your food.
So we also bought a car and are happy so far with it I have been lazy though and haven't taken a picture so we'll have another post with all the specs sometime soon. I am back into classes and couldn't be more disappointed. It was the first year in while that I wasn't also working so I got to sit around and be lazy. It was great. However I actually picked up a few days work through a temp agency and did some heavy duty egg lifting. Well that does it for this recap I'll end it off with our new family picture.

Nice pics. Thanks for the update. Looks like Naoko has hidden talents as a cake decorator!
Haha-, I know I love the tiny bald guy doll! I saw it at a dallor store & came up with the golf b-day cake idea. (Hope Andrew won't be like the doll though..I'm scared)
