We had this icicle on the side of our house for about a month and finally we had enough warm weather to melt the top enough that it couldn't hold any longer. It made it to about 7 feet long. We were really disappointed to see it's demise. It dumped another 6+ inches of snow on us recently which means about 36 + inches to shovel out from behind our car after the plows push all the snow from the road to behind our car. It is hard to decide how much I like the snow. Winter driving conditions are no fun and too much cold isn't any fun either but I can't imagine living somewhere that doesn't have all four seasons. I can't wait til summer!

"RIP" Mr. Icicle. I am also looking forward to summer! I've had enough of the cold.
They have to go around Aggie Village with a 2x4 every couple of weeks to knock down the icicles. I've seen a few that are about 4 feet wide at the top and 10 to 12 feet long. It makes you nervous to walk too close to the building. I hope this isn't typical amounts of snow cause this is crazy, another foot or so today
It does make a nice decoration on your house. I think Naoko is the next Vanna White!!!
